The helmet cam isn’t fully integrated, which means you’re going to deal with an external battery pack, wires and connecting it to a camcorder. Other features include Sony’s high-end Ex-View CCD chipset, 520 TV line resolution and a remote control to start and stop recording. Viosport also provides a variety of mounts that can be attached to almost anything that’s moving with you. The company makes helmet cams for TV shows like ESPN’s X Games and MTV’s Real World/Road Rules Challenge. The Adventure Cam 3 comes with the camera, AA battery pack, A/V cables, a camera mount and a tool kit. List Price: $329.  Integrated Helmet & Camera ComboNot only does the compact ATC-1000 Action Camera capture all of your stunts, it also lets you do some quick video editing. The camera comes with downloadable software that can be used to stitch multiple video segments together and add special effects. Aimed mainly at kids, the camera is completely integrated, so there’s no fussing with wires. Along with fitting the cam onto a helmet, there’s a Velcro® clip for attaching it to an arm, a leg or bike handlebars. If you want to see what the camera can do, Oregon Scientific has created a Website showing sports-action clips shot with the ATC-1000. The camera captures video at three resolutions: 640 x 480, 320 x 240 and 160 x 120 pixels. It has 32 MB of memory for recording 20 to 25 minutes of video, and can be upgraded with an SD card.
